Holiday Volunteers Needed

Put the "giving" back into Thanksgiving the Friday AFTER the holiday and the day after Christmas. (THIS YEAR THE CENTER IS CLOSED after Thanksgiving)
GNBBA members will be serving luncheon meals to the hungry at the Friendship Center.

Arnold W. Aronson Cup Golf Tournament

September 20, 2012 was a beautiful fall day, crisp air, blue sky and a great group of friends and colleagues for our "A Tourney At Law" golf tournament. 

Shuttle Meadow CC served a wonderful lunch on the patio to start us off (how about those hot dogs?) and SMCC Pro Tim Gavronski gave a great clinic on the "short game" - SUM-NON-SUM, eh Tim?

Thanks to our sponsors and supporters (especially Gallagher Buick) we enjoyed 5 hole-in-one contests throughout the course and fairways were lush and easy targets (well, for most of us). No winners but maybe next year we'll add closest-to-the-trees.

Golf followed by a relaxing hour of cocktails on the patio and a $2,500 putting contest. No winner on the putting but everyone enjoyed a good time as the sun set before going inside for a great buffet dinner.
 
We thank everyone who bought raffle tickets and bid on the auction items. There were some very lucky prize winners (you know who you are!) but everyone should feel a bit lucky for the chance to get to know each other a little better and spend such a great day together.
